OZ Specialty Coffee is a small, humble café at 11 Sin Ming Road in the building of Thomson V Two. It’s by the side of the building, so if you walk around it, you won’t miss it. OZ started out quite recently and so is still ironing out its kinks. Their menu have been edited for a few times since. I’ve been here around three times, and would definitely frequent it more.
The interior of the place, like most “hipster” cafés, has a very industrial look. With white faux brick walls, the interior space is actually very small & quaint. Only bar seats are available inside, you will do better with the few seatings outside. This place is fantastic for taking photos, especially if you visit OZ in the day. The white tables, Sunlight, adjacent greenery makes for magazine-worthy photographs. This is one of my favourite places for taking pictures.
The menu at OZ is actually pretty limited. I’ve seen the menu change for about two-three times since I’ve been there. The newest addition are the Belgian Leige waffles. The menu may be limited, but the food they serve is quite top-notch. Some may argue that the portions are small for the price, but I actually found it to be quite a lot. If you want something filling, I would recommend the “Classic” All-Day Breakfast ($9).
